Engine Compression Braking Rule

SBOA Rule 12-12-2020-01 

Whereas, Tennessee law provides for visual muffler inspection standards as a means to enforce noise pollution; now 

Therefore, Be it Ordered by the Sunset Bay Owners Association as follows:

The use of Engine Compression Braking Devices or “Jake Brakes” is prohibited on the roads encompassed by the Sunset Bay Owners Association property.  Sign to be posted at the first road load limit sign on the Association property.
