Pool Reopening Procedures

Swimming Pool Venue Reopening Process Sunset Bay Owners Association 5/26/2020
Pool participants are required to follow the following processes for participation in play:
1. Sign a Waiver (Exhibit 1). The waiver can be found on the web site at
2. Participants must answer the following questions in the negative before entering the Gym:
Is your temperature over 100.4?
Have you been in close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?
Are you experiencing a cough, shortness of breath or sore throat?
Have you had a fever in the last 48 hours?
Have you had new loss of taste or smell?
Have you had vomiting or diarrhea in the last 24 hours?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes you are not allowed to participate. This must be done each time before participating.
3. Participants are encouraged to wash hands or use hand sanitizer often and cover their coughs and sneezes.
The water fountain will not be available so participants must bring their own water.
The use of cloth face coverings is recommended except for when swimming.
Participants are required to clean the handrails, chairs, or tables after each use.
Do not share items that are difficult to clean or that come in contact with the face (for
example, goggles, nose clips, and snorkels). Do not leave any personal items behind as they will be discarded. Do not share food, equipment, toys, and supplies with those that you do not live with.
4. Social distancing of at least 6 feet between people not in your household is required. This is for both inside and outside of the pool. Make sure that children are capable of staying at least 6 feet apart from people that they do not live with.
5. Chairs and tables have been spaced to increase social distancing. These can be moved to accommodate one household living together but should be put back when leaving the pool area. Do not move the furniture otherwise. Clean your chairs with the disinfectant provided when you are done.
6. Showers are not available for use inside the clubhouse. The shower outside the pool gate is available for use. The bathrooms are available for use except for the showers. Please wash your hands. Hand sanitizer is available by the door.
